Like all French “IT” girls, Jordane Crantelle, the PR doyenne for iconic brands such as Chanel and Eres, has that certain ‘je nais se quoi’ that just exudes Parisian cool.  Here, she talks to us about her makeup-free look, her favorite swimwear, and the extra suitcase she packs just for her shoes (a genius idea, if we do say so ourselves!).

Where are you going on your summer holiday?

Greece has been my favorite place for summer holidays since my teenage years. It’s the first place, outside of France, that I traveled without my parents when I was 16. It’s just perfect! The food is amazing, the sky is always blue, and the beaches are incredible. The people are unbelievably nice, plus there’s ancient history everywhere you look. However, If I’m traveling for a short escape I love to go to Italy—it’s always romantic and has the best food in the world!

What brand of luggage are you bringing?

A big purple Rimowa suitcase. And a small black Rimowa for my shoes…haha!

What about your carry-on bag?

I always bring my monogram Louis Vuitton and a Chanel handbag.

What are you packing in your suitcase?

Only Eres bathing suits—I love them!  I have a great one-piece for swimming, bikinis to tan, and a few others to lounge around in after I leave the beach.  For clothing, I like pieces that are easy and comfy; tees, tanks, and shorts.  Of course, if I’m going to Ibiza or Mykonos, I always throw in one or two outfits to wear at night!  For shoes, I always pack K. Jacques sandals (which are the best and always perfectly match any beach outfit!), Chanel pumps and Twins For Peace sneakers. For a night out, Laurence Dacade gladiators are sexy & comfortable.  I don’t really care about my hair in general, but even less so on holidays, so I need a great accessory to make it look really good! Maison Michel makes my favorite hats. I also pack cool jewelry, since my outfits are pretty simple I like to wear a bunch of rings or bangles at night (I love the ones from Maiyet).

What beauty essentials are you bringing?

I don’t really bring any makeup. If I go out at night I’ll put on some Chanel mascara and a little By Terry Baume de Rose on my lips.  Clarins sunscreen, as well as Clarins HydraQuench Cream Mask and Intensive Serum, are perfect for when you travel.  Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse body oil is amazing, and  Leonor Greyl beauty enhancing oils are a must-have for my hair.  Oh, and I always have my favorite perfume with me: Un Jardin en Méditérranée by Hermes.

What nail polish color will you wear?

I like to keep my nails natural, but I pick a fun color for my toes like orange or yellow!

What’s your go-to outfit for the plane?

It’s soooo not sexy! Sweatpants, a sweatshirt, and sneakers. When I’m flying I don’t care about style, I care about sleeping!

What’s the one item you never travel without?

A hat.

One surprising thing you always pack?

A little lucky charm, that I received from a Tibetan monk in India.  I always have it with me for the good vibrations.

Do you have any packing tips?

Well, unlike me, it’s better to start a few days in advance rather than the night before!
