With a slew of famous Hollywood fans clamoring for her incredible pieces, Irene Neuwirth, winner of the 2014 CFDA Swarovski Award, leisurely spent her summer jet-setting off to the greatest of locales. Here, she talks to us about a few of the travel essentials she brought along.
Where did you travel to this summer?
I spent 3 fantastic weeks in Italy, then I went to Wimbeldon, and finally, I finished up my traveling with a vacation to Greece. I was super lucky this summer!
What brand of luggage did you use?
Tumi.
Did you bring a camera along?
I use my iPhone for everything.
What was on your summer reading list?
The Goldfinch, by Donna Tartt.
What music did you listen to?
This summer I was loving Phantogram, the new Little Dragon, and Glass Animals. And I always bring Frends headphones—they’re the best!
What were the must-have travel essentials you brought?
Sharpies and a pad of paper—I never know where or when I’ll find inspiration and need to immediately get something down on paper.
Jurlique Rose hand lotion—I’m obsessed with the smell and I never fly without it!
An extra piece of jewelry—I usually have a favorite piece that I’m really not ready to let go of quite yet. I’ll tote it around with me for weeks until I move onto the next.
Lip gloss—This is a constant in my bag, although the shade and brand are forever changing.
