There are certain things that I am always on the hunt for; the perfect white t-shirt, the perfect, green army jacket (this one here is my current favorite), and not to be overlooked, the perfect red nail polish.  It should be said that all reds are not created equal—they’re either too blue, too pink, too orange…it’s maddening (the struggle is real, people)!  Truth be told, I usually wear neutral colors on my nails, like Sugar Daddy from Essie, but when I want a great, shiny, bright, eye-catching red nail it has to be the best!  So when I found Dovima, from one of my favorite beauty brands, Nars, I can honestly tell you it was love at first sight!

I actually discovered it on my friend Megan (who happens to be the US PR Director for Nars) when we recently had dinner together in NYC.  One flash of her long, manicured, candy-red nails and I was hooked.  “It’s Dovima from NARS,” she exclaimed, and faster than Serena Williams serves on center court I was at Barneys buying my very own bottle.  I think it’s the perfect red to wear from Paris to Palm Springs…and in fact, those are just 2 of the fabulous places I plan to wear it this month!
