I’m heading to Miami for a quick 48-hour trip (a little work, lunch & dinners with friends, some time on the beach, and of course a teeny-tiny bit of shopping). Here’s a peek at a few things I’m packing:

1. I’m obsessed with stripes so when I spotted this one-piece swimsuit you can imagine my excitement.  I’m going to wear it to the pool with these cool rope sandals from Isabel Marant (they are soooo comfortable), and my new, favorite Isabel Marant dress (which will double as a cover-up).

2. I love this fringy, seagrass tote with leather-trimmed handles—-it’s so vacationy looking.  Perfect to take to the pool and the beach, filled with all my favorite magazines and the new book I’m about to start: Opening Belle.

3. These tassel sandals are so chic!  During the day, I’m going to wear them to Cecconi’s for lunch with friends and pair them with these cute sailor shorts and a simple, white, v-neck J.Crew tee…at night I’ll throw them on with this Ulla Johnson dress (this dress is fabulous for travel—it never seems to wrinkle and it looks great with both flats and heels—which, let’s be honest, rarely ever happens).

4. Byredo products are at the top of my beauty must-haves list and I always have some in my toiletries bag.  Gypsy Water is their most popular scent and I just love this body cream (it has notes of vanilla and sandalwood). I’m also packing the matching perfumed rollerball oil, which I’ll throw in my bag to dab on at the beach or at night.
