You know you’re going on vacation when you’ve got a bikini and sunscreen in your carry-on bag!  Here’s a list of what was in my TSA bin for a recent getaway to Mexico:

I like my skin with a bit of a golden glow but I’m careful to apply apply plenty of sunscreen when I’m on the beach or by the pool. Anthelios SPF30 lotion and Anthelios SPF60, both by La-Roche Posay, are always with me on warm-weather trips.

I love this polaroid-style Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 camera.  It’s so much fun to have instant pics—I start using it the moment I get to the airport!

My skin gets so dry up in the air and this Tata Harper hand cream is fantastic.  I also love that it’s all natural.

I’ve got a real thing for stripes and this Solid & Striped bikini top and bottom (also available here and here) keeps me looking chic.

For my lips the Balm Dotcom from Glossier can’t be beat.  I love the small tube and pink packaging!

I’m a huge fan of floral scents and this Leilani Bishop fragrance oil (in lilac) smells like heaven. It’s especially nice to have on the plane with me so I can freshen up a bit before landing.

I take these Rayban New Wayfarer sunglasses with me everywhere.  I adore the white color…they just scream ‘vay-cay’.

I always travel with a striped shirt and this one by Kule is one of my favorites.

For snacks, I brought some lifesavers and a LaraBar (in Pineapple Upside Down Cake…delicious!).
