Ever since I was a teenager, and probably long before that, denim cut-offs have been one of my summer staples.  Maybe it’s because I grew up going to the beach in Malibu but a pair of denim cutoffs really seems to encapsulate that laid-back ‘California Girl’ lifestyle that I’ve come to love, regardless of where I am in the world.  And let’s be honest, when worn right, there’s something incredibly sexy about a girl in a pair of denim cutoffs (think Cindy Crawford in that now famous Pepsi commercial).

One of my favorite pairs is from MiH jeans (shown above) but I also love these, and of course you can never go wrong with a pair of classic Levi’s cutoffs like these.  Add some sandals (I’m obsessed with the ‘rope’ versions shown above which can be found here, and here), and a great swimsuit (like this gingham one-piece) and voilà!, you’ve got the perfect ensemble de plage.
