Regardless of whether I’m on a short weekend getaway or a proper long-haul vacation there’s one thing I always have in my toiletry bag—dry shampoo!  I can’t tell you how many times it has saved me.  I’m annoyingly high-maintenance about my hair (I can groom my own eyebrows, paint my own nails and toes, but my golden locks have always been an issue) so I’m happy to have all the help I can get when it comes to taming my tresses. When my hair is looking sad and awful (which makes me feel sad and awful) I just spritz in a little dry shampoo, give it a quick shake with my fingers to work it through and voila! I’m back to normal and ready to go.

Some of my favorites are simple drugstore brands like Psssst! or it’s French cousin Klorane (why is everything more fabulous when it comes from a French pharmacy?!).  But I also love the version from Rahua (which adds a lot of volume) as well as R+Co, which is cleverly named “Death Valley“…genius!

It really doesn’t matter which brand you choose…the important thing to remember is that dry shampoo will save you tons of time and give you some seriously awesome hair….one less thing to worry about as you stroll the streets of Paris or Miami, looking fabulous of course.
