I’m heading to Miami this weekend for a quick girls trip (well, nothing is really ‘quick’ from LA, but it’ll be well worth it!). I’m meeting up with my friends from NYC and I can’t wait to be in that delicious, warm, tropical weather…sipping a cocktail, pretending to read a book, pouring through my favorite magazines, and chatting about all things food and fashion with my girls! I’ve been inspired by the zillions of instagram posts from Paris Fashion Week (and yes, I’m having major FOMO about it) so I really wanted to pack items that were ‘sleek and chic’ (my mantra as I was deciding what to bring). Here’s a glimpse at what’s coming with me.
Top row (from left):
I am obsessed with all things Balenciaga lately (it hit me like a wrecking ball) so it’s no surprise that I had to have this enormous extra-large tote as soon as I spotted it. It’s perfect as a weekend bag or as a carry-on for the plane (which is what I’m using it for) and holds so much.
I’m a big fan of Isabel Marant pieces for warm-weather trips. I always, always have something Isabel Marant in my bag. This white frilly ‘Delicia’ dress can easily be worn for day or night by just switching out your accessories—exactly what I’m looking for when I’m trying to pack lite.
I love that these Gabriela Hearst sandals are velvet because I think it can make a daytime outfit look very sophisticated…and of course they look super sexy at night with some shimmery skin (compliments of this stuff!)
Middle Row (from left):
These wedges are perfect for going out for dinner and dancing! I looooove the bright, fuchsia-pink color! I just think they are soooo sultry and fun for Miami…and since I am so petite I can always use a little extra height at night!
Stripes are my favorite and I flipped when I saw this pink and tangerine color-combo. Can’t wait to wear this on the beach and by the pool—it’s so Miami!
Bottom Row (from left):
These Rebecca de Ravenel earrings are popular with all the IT girls. Super chic to wear to a swanky dinner—they can really make the simplest outfit come to life.
I’m trying out this new shampoo from Rossano Ferretti (I actually get my haircut in LA at his salon–ask for Christian, he’s a hair-wizard!). I really like the sleek packaging and the fact that it’s a ‘softening and smoothing’ shampoo which I think my hair will appreciate from all the sun and saltwater exposure.
This lip gloss from Givenchy Beauty is called Mister Lip Oil (such a cute name)—it naturally reacts with the PH of your skin to create a personalized color—so cool, right?!!
…and as always you can shop more of my suitcase selections here.
Bon Voyage!
