The french word for honeymoon is “lune de miel” and that’s exactly where this vintage Chanel cosmetics case needs to go.  I went crazy for it the moment I saw it, and I’m seriously considering making it mine (plus the fact that it’s vintage, and there’s only one available, makes me want it all the more—it’s extra special).  I imagine someone carrying it as they jet off to Tahiti or the Maldives…or a quiet island in the Bahamas where you and your sweetheart can sink your toes into the powdery, paper-white sand.  I’d fill it with the basics: a bottle of sweet-smelling shimmer oil, a stylish lip balm, waterproof mascara, a great highlighter (so you can glow in the sunlight and the moonlight!), a bottle of sunscreen, and this mini Mason Pearson hairbrush (so you’re always picture-perfect).
