I’m super into these red checkerboard Vans!  Growing up in southern California these were practically a requirement—and I love that for just over $50 bucks they still look ultra-cool.  I wore these to breakfast last weekend at the Soho House in Malibu (paired with my favorite vintage Levi’s…because Levi’s + Vans are truly a match made in heaven!) and then grabbed an iced coffee from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and went and watched the surfers for awhile—it was the perfect Malibu morning.
